I dismissed the review about metal clips ( to my sorrow )as i have owned suspenders with metal clips before. The part that actually clips to the pants is huge 1 inch square and 1/2 inch thick, very aware of their presence while wearing. They also take considerable force to open and are not for weak or arthritic hands. Had i known this i would not have purchased this item.

i liked the idea of under garment suspenders.but in a short time one of the clips quit working waste of money.

My husband said the clips are too big and difficult to open. Suspender fabric is soft against skin. Replace metal clips with plastic and you have perfect travel and against the skin suspenders.

I suppose I should have checked, but these suspenders have pants clips made of metal. The pants clips have sharp metal edges and aren’t really good for “undergarment” suspenders. When you bend over, the upper part of the clips press into my skin and are very uncomfortable. They should have been made of a soft plastic or at the very least covered with vinyl or plastic.

These suspenders are sturdy, grip very well, and extend to the longer length that the wearer needed. I purchased them to go under his shirt, and the flesh color does make the suspenders less obvious. However, he likes them and often wears them over his shirt. It’s not an expected color for most clothing, but he’s happy and his pants stay up.
